Note to self, creating RSS feed for LJ is like trying to throttle a bitch. ¹ Playing around with plugins, on the other hand, can be very entertaining. ² Now I need to sit down and stay away from my LJ update page, just in case I decide to write something else. My keyboard is going to go to hell, at this rate. Lots of other things to do with my life. Like sleep. And eat. And play with my dog. Heigh ho for dumping things here! I don’t know what the hell I’m doing with a website alongside a livejournal, but better something than nothing – and it keeps the LJ free of random spam.

Might as well put up eyecandy while doing the testing. My brain is kind of fizzing out; but for all of its clunkiness I suddenly see why people use WP. Lots of customisability, and the additional she-bang of plugins makes everything worth clicking on and looking pretty.

In a sad attempt at getting myself used to new systems and stuff and coding and… more stuff, I’m here loading WordPress and celebrating the fact that I no longer have to kick my FTP server every ten minutes. \o/ The way WordPress is laid out is a bit too static for my tastes, but I think I need to go get used to PHP and CSS again first before sticking my head out. Whee!
